It is a fact that a large part of the country’s building stock is either old and, in many cases, unexploited in relation to the demand for acquisition or rent. Based on our long experience in the field of design and construction of buildings, our practice is also active in the field of renovation with innovative ideas that meet the requirements of commercial exploitation, modernisation and improvement of indoor environmental quality.

Duplex housing in Voula, Attica

The owners’ wish was to separate their two-storey house of 255.00 sq.m. in two independent horizontal properties on the ground floor and the first floor. For this purpose, a new staircase was constructed within the building and the interior was fully renovated so that two independent and modern apartments emerged that meet the owners’ needs.

The project included the reconstruction of the electrical, plumbing and mechanical installations, the construction of new bathrooms and kitchen areas as well as the redesign of the patio.

Apartment in Pagrati area

Considering its age and location in an area that has been particularly popular with tourists in recent years for short-term leasing (“AirBnB type”), the owner decided to undergo a major renovation for commercial exploitation of this property.

The works included the integration of the living room with the kitchen, the reconstruction of the bathroom and the bedroom, the reconstruction of the electrical, plumbing and mechanical installations, the reconstruction of the floor finish as well as the replacement of the doors and windows.
